It was an excellent weekend for Newsells Park Stud with three Group winners bred by the stud, namely Mogul, Waldgeist and Ispolini. First of the trio was Mogul landing the Gr.2 KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday 14th September.

Equiano is really proving the sire on fire recently with three Stakes winners or Gr.1 performers in the last five days. Equilateral became the latest new Stakes winner in landing the Listed DC Training and Development Services Scarbrough Stakes at Doncaster today.

Equiano once again proved himself a consistent sire of tough, high-class sprinters with a new Stakes winner in Dakota Gold at York and The Tin Man finishing a brave second in the Gr.1 Betfair Sprint Cup at Haydock this weekend.

Nathaniel’s daughter Amorella claimed her first Group win with victory in the Gr.2 T. von Zastrow Stutenpreis at Baden-Baden today.

Newsells Park Stud enjoyed a great meeting at York last week with Enable maintaining her superstar status in landing her 10th Gr.1 win for her sire Nathaniel, and the Newsells bred Japan gaining his second Gr.1 victory in the Juddmonte International Stakes. The stud has now bred or raised 11 Gr.1 winners since 2010, and 68 Group/Stakes winners of 18 Gr.1 races, 14 Gr.2 races, 27 Gr.3 races and 58 Listed races.

The Queen of racing, Enable, once again confirmed she is one of the best mares in the history of racing with a phenomenal 10th Gr.1 victory when landing the Yorkshire Oaks at York today. This superstar daughter of Nathaniel will now bid to achieve an historic hat-trick in the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe

The Newsells bred Japan gained his second Gr.1 victory in landing the Gr.1 Juddmonte International Stakes at York today, with a gutsy defeat of the highest-rated Flat horse in training Crystal Ocean.

Nathaniel sired a new Group winner today with Tamniah landing the Gr.3 Prix Minerve at Deauville.

Equiano sired a new Group winning sprinter today with Gustavus Weston landing the Gr.3 Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club Phoenix Sprint Stakes at the Curragh.

Enable's epic victory in the Gr.1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at the weekend capped a very successful few weeks for Newsells Park Stud. The Queen of racing was winning an incredible ninth Gr.1 race for the Newsells Park Stud sire Nathaniel, whilst earlier in July Japan became the eleventh Gr.1 winner bred or raised by the stud since 2010.
