The fastest son of Frankel and the only Gr.1 miler son of Frankel at stud in Europe.
The Nathaniel filly Amorella maintained her unbeaten record to comfortably win the Listed Preis Der Holschbach Immobilien-Gruppe-Stuten Steher Cup by four lengths at Cologne today.
In doing so, she was the tenth individual Group/Stakes winner for Nathaniel in 2018 alone so far and sixteenth Group/Stakes horse, coming hot on the heels of Highgarden winning the Gr.3 Princess Royal Nayef Stakes at Newmarket last week. Nathaniel’s impressive Group winning tally also includes the five-time Gr.1 winner and this year’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe favourite Enable.
Trained by Markus Klug for owner TINK Racing, Amorella has previously won this year the Gehrke Econ Cup at Hannover and Toto-Lotto-Preis at Baden-Baden.
This three-year-old filly from Nathaniel’s second crop was bred by Gestut Hof Ittlingen out of the Dubawi mare Anaita.
