Victory by Damysus in the Listed The Aga Khan Studs Prix Nureyev today at Deauville was timely given sales preparation for our consignment of 29 yearlings for the 2025 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale – Book 1 is now well underway, and details of all our Tattersalls consignments are now online.

Bred by Newsells Park Stud with our client Merry Fox Stud, Damysus was sold at the 2023 Tattersalls Book 1 Sale for 460,000gns to Blandford Bloodstock. Pictured here as a yearling Damysus is by Frankel out of Legerete (Rahy), also the dam of Stakes winners Pilote and Esquisse.  Congratulations to the connections: owner Wathnan Racing, trainers John & Thady Gosden and jockey James Doyle.

Frankel is again represented in our 2025 Book 1 yearling consignment along with other leading stallions: Dubawi, Kingman, Lope de Vega, Night Of Thunder, Sea The Stars, Siyouni and Wootton Bassett, amongst others including first-season sires Baaeed and Blackbeard.

There are siblings to 15 individual Group and Stakes winners, headed up by a Dubawi half-sister to four-time Gr.1 and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Waldgeist, Gr.2 winner Waldlied and Gr.3 winner Waldkonig (Lot 508).

– Siyouni half-sister to Gr.2 Italian Derby winner Goldenas and Stakes winner Prichi (Lot 296).

In addition, 18 yearlings are out of Group or Stakes mares, with eight being Gr.1 winners/performers including Mrs Sippy, One Voice, Qabala, Star Terms, Teppal and Villa Marina.

There are also yearlings out of own/half-sisters to Gr.1 winners Bolshoi Ballet, Kingsbarns, Harzand, Huetor, Masked Marvel, Spinning Queen, Querari, Tamarkuz and Without Parole.

We look forward to offering them at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale – Book 1 – from 7^th to 9^th October.  Before that our digital catalogue with photographs and videos of each lot will go live in mid-September.
