Newsells Park Stud enjoyed a great meeting at York last week with Enable maintaining her superstar status in landing her 10th Gr.1 win for her sire Nathaniel, and the Newsells bred Japan gaining his second Gr.1 with victory in the Juddmonte International Stakes.
The stud has now bred or raised 11 individual Gr.1 winners since 2010, and 68 Group/Stakes winners of 18 Gr.1 races, 14 Gr.2 races, 27 Gr.3 races and 58 Listed races.
So don’t miss the first of the 2019 Newsells Park Stud yearling consignments at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale this week where seven smart yearlings will be offered.
The consignment is headed up by a Dark Angel colt out of Atlantic Drift, an Oasis Dream half-sister to Gr.1 Sussex Stakes winner Lightning Spear (Lot 231- pictured). Also by leading two-year-old sire Dark Angel is a colt out of Priceless Jewel, a half-sister to Gr.1 Sprint Cup winner Tante Rose from the family of Dubawi Heights and Make Believe (Lot 26); and a filly out of a daughter of the Gr.1 winner Kinnaird, also the dam of Gr.2 Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes two-year-old winner Berkshire and Keenes Royal, dam of multiple Gr/Stks winner and sire Ivawood (384).
Newsells Park Stud sire, Equiano is also represented within the consignment with a full-brother to Stakes performer Nuclear Power and half-brother to Stakes winner Warden Complex our of Miss Rimex (Ezzoud) (Lot 437).
The other yearlings making up the consignment include a Siyouni filly out of a half-sister to Raydiya, dam of Gr.2 winning two-year-old Raydara (Lot 40); and a Muhaarar filly out of the multiple Stakes winner and performer Sweet Cecily (Kodiac), dam of three winners (Lot 151). Finally leading sire Lope de Vega is the sire of the first foal out of the Stakes winner Iromea (Dansili) from the family of Gr.1 winners Grey Lilas and Golden Lilac (Lot 376).
