Nathaniel sired his 17th individual Stakes winner today with Mutamakina winning the 10f Listed Prix Madame Jean Couturie at Vichy in France with an impressive performance.

The three-year-old filly was following up her Maiden victory in the Prix Atalante at Compiegne in June, for trainer Carlos Laffon-Parias and owner Al Shira’aa Farms. She has two wins from three starts to date and looks set for better things.

Bred by Widgham Stud, Mutamakina is out of the Danehill mare Joshua’s Princess.  She fetched 100,000gns at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 2 when knocked down to Shawn Dugan and consigned by New England Stud.
