A’Ali to parade at Tattersalls on Thursday 1st February 2024

26/01/2024

Don’t miss our stallion A’Ali parading at Tattersalls on Thursday 1st February, commencing at 11am in the Sales Ring. He is taking part in the TBA Flat Stallion Parade being held on the first day of the Tattersalls February Sale in Newmarket.

Breeders, owners, trainers and spectators are also invited to view A’Ali and speak with us after the parade in the Left Yard.

A’Ali was a brilliant juvenile speedster, who blitzed the field to win the Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot on only his second start, and went on to win three Gr.2 races over the minimum trip as a two-year-old, including the Prix Robert Papin and the Flying Childers Stakes.

As a three-year-old, A’Ali trained on to win the Gr.3 Coral Charge and the Gr.2 Sapphire Stakes before being placed in the Gr.1 Nunthorpe Stakes behind Battaash.

His first foals were well received at the foal sales last year realising 68,000gns, 67,000gns, 55,000gns, etc. Here is what their buyers had to say:

“He’s a strong horse, very athletic. I thought he had a great attitude, a great outlook and he looks a horse who will run.”
Matt Coleman, re: colt ex Maureen purchased for 55,000gns

“Very impressed with the A’Ali foals. We have a cracking colt, easy mover with bags of appeal, strong and correct.”
Eddie O’Leary, Lynn Lodge Stud, re: colt ex Alushta purchased for 68,000gns

“We followed plenty of A’Ali foals but this colt was our pick. He has all the right attributes, good mind, athletic with lots of substance. He’ll be popular in the Autumn.”
David O’Callaghan, Yeomanstown Stud, re: colt ex Royal Empress purchased for 67,000gns
