Newsells Park Stud enjoyed a fantastic day on the racecourse yesterday, with outstanding results from horses foaled and raised at the stud. Congratulations to all our clients on their success.
Heredia produced a superb performance to land the Grade 2 Yellow Ribbon Stakes at Del Mar, having previously won the Group 3 Atalanta Stakes and been placed in the Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes in the UK. Out of Nakuti (Mastercraftsman) and by Dark Angel she was bred by our clients St Albans Bloodstock. Her victory also provides a great catalogue update for the forthcoming Tattersalls October Yearling Sales — her half-brother by New Bay will be offered as part of our consignment in Book 2.
Also in the USA, Rebel Red ran a gallant race to finish runner-up in the prestigious Grade 1 Sword Dancer Stakes at Saratoga. Bred by long-standing clients Tanya and John Gunther, he is by Frankel out of Without You Babe and is a full brother to the top-class miler Without Parole, now an exciting young sire standing at Newsells Park Stud.
The two-year-old filly Princess Petrol showed plenty of promise when finishing second in the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket, having won a Novice Stakes at Ascot a few weeks earlier. Bred by W & Robert Barnett out of their mare Mot Juste, this performance also boosts the page of her half-brother by Lope de Vega offered as part of our Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1 consignment as Lot 286.
These results are a testament to the quality, care, and expertise behind every horse foaled and raised at Newsells Park Stud, and provide exciting pedigree updates ahead of our Tattersalls October Sales consignments.
