Jacobs Foundation

"Young people's hope and energy, their enthusiasm, their imagination, ideals and visions, as well as their willingness to experiment, are the key dimensions for social change, economic development and technological innovation."
Klaus J Jacobs (1936-2008), Founder

The Jacobs Foundation is devoted to promoting the development of young people, helping them to become important members of our society. In addition to a modern school education the Foundation supports projects directed towards life skills, computer skills and activities associated with nature and the environment.

The Foundation has helped improve the quality of life and social prospects for young people in Central and South America, Africa and Europe.

Within this strategy, the Foundation presented the British Racing School with a grant of £300,000 to improve their facilities.

In recognition of this support the existing main building and the communication centre has been named the Newsells Park
Education Centre.

The Foundation also supported the BHEST Racing to School education programme with a donation of £100,000.
