Newsells Classic Collection at Tattersalls December Sales

Newsells Park Stud will be offering an exciting Classic Collection of mares and foals at the Tattersalls December Sales over the next few weeks.

The highlight of the collection is Hazariya (Xaar), the dam of Harzand, dual Gr.1 Classic winner of the Epsom Derby and Irish Derby, as well as Group and Stakes winners and performers Harasiya, Hazarafa, Haziyna.  Covered by Invincible Spirit she will be offered on Tuesday 29th November (Lot 1826).

In addition, the mare consignment includes ten Group or Stakes winners or performers including Miss Work Of Art (Dutch Art), a two-year-old Stakes winner and Group performer covered by Newsells sire Equiano (Lot 1721); and More Aspen (More Than Ready), a Stakes winning mare from the immediate family of Fall Aspen covered by Showcasing (Lot 1824).

The other Listed winning or Group performing mares are Quesada (Peintre Celebre) (Lot (2080), Melodique (Falco) (Lot 1722), Reine Magique (Mount Nelson) (Lot 1825), So Belle (Singspiel) (Lot 1445), Indigo River (Kodiac) (Lot 1446), Helena Molony (Sadler’s Wells) (Lot 2079), and Dream Day (Oasis Dream) also the dam of Stakes performer Delhi (Lot 2045).

Also offered at the Tattersalls December Sale as part of a consolidation of numbers at the stud are six full/half-sisters to Group or Stakes winners including Carmens Fate (Cape Cross) a half-sister to the Classic placed Best Name, February Sun and Heirloom covered by Free Eagle (Lot 2046); and Helena Molony (Sadler's Wells), a Stakes performing full-sister to High Chaparral and Black Bear Island covered by Fastnet Rock (Lot 2079)

As well as Pink Tequila (Teofilo) out of Puce and a half-sister to Pongee and Lion Sands (Lot 1447); Luna Moon (Equiano) a half-sister to Tabaret and Saigon (Lot 1513); Amallna (Green Desert) a half-sister to Gr.1 winner Zahrat Dubai (Lot 1720); and Comeraincomeshine (Night Shift) a half-sister to Where Or When and dam of Stakes winner Danehill Destiny (Lot 2296).

Plus several more well bred and proven mares make up the consignment at Tattersalls Breeding Stock Sale. 

Before that Newsells Park Stud will be offering 16 excellent foals at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale this week.  The foal with the most significant update is a half-brother to Gr.1 QIPCO British Champions sprint winners The Tin Man and Deacon Blues.  Offered at Lot 765 he is by Poet’s Voice out of Persario (Bishop of Cashel) and will sell on Thursday 24th November.   Be quick or you will miss him!
