Gitano Hernando

In 2010 there are over 100 horses in training bred by Newsells Park Stud.

These include two Gr.1 winners.  Rite of Passage landed the Gold Cup (Gr.1) at Royal Ascot this year for trainer Dermot Weld.  In addition, the US Gr.1 winner Gitano Hernando remains in training with Marco Botti.

Strawberrydaiquiri continues on the upgrade, having this year won the Windsor Forest Stakes (Gr.2) at Royal Ascot and Dahlia Stakes (Gr.3), following up her hat trick of Listed race wins in 2009 for trainer Sir Michael Stoute.

A number of other Newsells bred horses have also gained valuable black-type this season, including Mosqueras Romance, Kartica and Royal Revival.

Looking ahead there are a host of well bred two-year-olds yet to make their racecourse debut.

The horses in training currently showing most promise and owned by a variety of owners is listed below. Click on to link to their race records courtesy of the Racing Post. To print the list of horses in training, as well as two-year-olds bred by Newsells Park Stud, click here .
