Once again Newsells Park Stud is offering one lucky buyer from each of their four major 2010 yearling consignments (Arqana Deauville, DBS St. Leger and Tattersalls October Books 1 & 2) the chance to win an extra £10,000 Newsells Golden Bonus. This week, yearling buyers were sent a unique bar of Newsells’ Mint chocolate, in which they may have a winning Scratchcard to be in the running for the Golden Bonus. In addition, they may have won more chocolate or a Gold Sovereign! Julian Dollar, general manager, said: “We all know gold represents a secure investment, and we would like to think many of our yearlings are a secure investment as well. They are all offered in ‘mint’ condition and you don’t have to be ‘minted’ to own one - excuse the puns!” Recipients of the winning scratchcards are encouraged to bring their scratchcards and register their interest in the Golden Bonus when viewing the Newsells yearlings at the sales. If they purchase a Newsells’ yearling they will be in the select draw to win an extra £10,000 should the yearling they purchase win a race already eligible for the Racing Post Yearling Bonus Scheme, or a Class B race in France. There will be a limited supply of scratchcards at each sale for potential buyers who have not received one, have misplaced their original or already submitted their scratchcard at a previous sale, provided they register their interest with Newsells when they come to view each consignment. Indeed, 2010 has been a ‘golden year’ for Newsells Park Stud, particularly at Royal Ascot where Rite of Passage won the Gold Cup (Gr.1), and Strawberrydaiquiri landed the Windsor Forest Stakes (Gr.2). Newsells consignments at Arqana in Deauville have also enjoyed great success on the racecourse in the past few months. Gitano Hernando won the Goodwood Stakes (Gr.1) last October and St Moritz gamely landed the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket earlier in July. Other exciting prospects offered at Deauville by Newsells since 2008 include Stakes performers Kartica, Royal Revival and Midnight Game, as well as July’s impressive two-year-old winner, Manhaj. |
