From the M25
Travel around the M25 to Junction 23 for the A1(M). Turn north onto the A1(M) heading to Welwyn Garden City. Continue along the A1(M) until Junction 9 signposted to Baldock. Turn off at Junction 9 turning right at the main roundabout and take the Baldock bypass. Follow signs for Royston on the A505, towards Newmarket. At A10 roundabout, turn right towards Royston following signs A10 Hertford. Fork left at the one way system towards Barkway, Barley (B1039). Follow this road out of Royston until you come to a sharp left hand bend where you turn right, following the signs to Newsells, Barkway. As you come over the hill, the stud is below you on both sides. The stud office is through automatic white gates at the bottom of the hill on the right hand (west) side.
From the M11/Newmarket
From the M11 exit at Junction 10 and follow the A505 (Duxford) to Royston. If you are coming from Newmarket leave the A11, before joining the M11, following signs for the A505 to Royston. Approximately 5 miles on you will see a motel on your right and Total garage on your left. Take the left turn to Barley/Barkway and follow the road into Barley. At the first crossroads, turn right towards Royston and follow the road for two miles. You will come to a left turn beside a letter box to Barkway / Newsells. Turn left here. As you come over the hill you will see the stud below on both sides. The stud office is through automatic white gates at the bottom of the hill on the right hand (west) side.
All vehicles bringing mares to Newsells Park Stud to be covered by our stallions should do so via the Grange Farm Stallion Unit, located off the A10 trunk road just South of Royston. There is no access for vehicles to the stallion unit via the main entrance. Click here for directions.
